Private Setting, Panoramic Views

Relax and unwind in your own private tranquil secluded retreat in a beautiful nature setting surrounded by native plants, wildlife and grazing sheep.

We are situated in a sea-air environment on the northern tip of Salt Spring Island, west facing, surrounded by sunlight and featuring magnificent sunsets. Across the road is an ocean bay beach ideal for sunbathing and one of the warmest swimming locations around the island. Hiking is easily reached through forest trails adjacent to our property.

The Tir Àluinn cottage is nestled amongst tall arbutus and fir trees on five acres with spectacular panoramic views of Vancouver Island's mountains and ocean glimpses.

Self Contained and Fully Featured

This newly completed living space is a post and beam self-contained accommodation built with milled Douglas Fir harvested from our property. The Tir Àluinn Cottage has a large bedroom with queen bed, great room containing a kitchenette and living space with a queen sofabed, and bathroom featuring a cast iron clawfoot soaker tub.

The Tir Àluinn cottage is designed for self-catering, fully equipped offering all the amenities you expect for a peaceful vacation. The space is tastefully decorated and appointed with attention to detail and comfort. Upon arrival, a welcome basket containing provisions for your first morning breakfast awaits you.
